River

We have been creating our own village with a river.

We made rocks. It is a great way to practice prepositions, in, on, next to.

We will keep you posted on the status of our river!

Marble run

We created our own marble run using a pool noodle! Mrs. McCoy cut the pool noodle in half. The class took turns coming up with ideas on building with Legos and blocks. It took a lot of patience but it paid off watching the marbles go!

Marble Paint

This week we have been exploring movement with marbles. We will be displaying our new marble paintings in the hallway. Please come check it out next week.

We placed marbles in the paint then tilted the tray to try and paint the paper.

Patterning

We crafted our own light table. Here's how:

One large clear Tupperware bin

White tissue paper

White Christmas lights

Wrap the Christmas lights in tissue paper. Leave part of the light strung out to plug in. Put on the top and play!

We used clear gems from the dollar store. 

We have been learning what a pattern is and how to make them.
